There is no more a vital piece of home workout equipment than a good set of dumbbells. Getting a home gym together can be expensive as well as it taking up a lot of space in your home. Not many people are lucky enough to have the space or the finances to put together a home gym setup but don’t worry, a pair of dumbbells can give you an excellent workout! In saying that you can be limited with the weight you purchase.

The whole idea of strength training is that you increase the load on the muscle. Now this can be done via adding extra reps but eventually you will want to move up in weight even just a little. However do not rule these out as they are a good option and more affordable than other types of dumbbells.

Adjustable weight dumbbells:

The benefits of these might be quite obvious as they allow you to adjust how much weight you have on each dumbbell. This is great for serious trainers who are looking to increase their weight throughout the workout or throughout the workout plan. Whilst it may be a bit of a pain to unscrew the weight each time you want to increase it having a pair of these means you don’t need a full rack of fixed weight dumbbells. All you need is one pair of these adjustable weight dumbbells and some extra weight and you have everything to get going.
