Passive Sampling Project – Hasta luego Monterrey!
By Lisa Jones (MESTECH).
Today marks my last day in Monterrey, Mexico. It was a productive week, our sampling was carried out and the water extractions are underway. The samplers will be recalled in a few weeks and sent to DCU for extraction.
Dr. Parra’s group were very helpful and welcoming, I learned a lot from working with them . It was a great week in Monterrey, a very interesting city with much to see and do.
17 days into the trip and Monterrey was the first city to reintroduce me to rain, a little taste of home. I’m practically a local here now!
I would like to say a huge thanks again to Roberto Parra and his group in Tec de Monterrey.
Next stop – Cuba!
